Taking care of the environment

When visiting River Farm, you are accessing an area of critical biodiversity. We request that guests take due care of this environment by not picking flowers, fishing, littering or leaving food accessible for wild life (including baboons and genets).

The Theerivier that flows through the valley is habitat for several endemic fish species including the critically endangered Tweerivier Redfin/Rooivlerkie.
